From August 29 to September 5, 2015 will be held in the city of Lecce, the project Re: collect, exchange project between artists and Italian and Romanian youth workers.
The project stems from the work of the Quantic association (Bucharest, Romania) and BorderGate (Turin, Italy), founder of the copyleft webradio Border Radio, with the intention of bringing youth workers, artists and educators to explore different realities and be able to draw inspiration from them.
The project will talk about of potential and the social impact of artistic experiences, often limited in cultural niches, that requires structural inclusion of young people and youth workers, in particular by promoting the emergence of women in creative labor market.
For activities, we have chosen the city of Lecce, symbol of South Italy on the move, in which emerging cultural and artistic reality of fundamental importance for the Italian underground culture and the development of active and critical citizenship.
RE:COLLECT – Collecting Ideas and Resources for a Creative Society, is a project co-funded by the European Union in partnership with BorderGate Association from Torino.
Materials, accommodation and food are free. We can reimburse transport in the limit of 275 euro for romanian participants, 180 euro for italian participants.
