Q:How long are you into street art/ illustration? Give me little background of your starts.

I took my first spray can when I was studing in the High School (13 years ago) but I didn´t take it very seriously and in the last five years I´ve been more involved in street art and mural painting.

Q:How did you learn the drawing skills? Do you have formal art training?

I have loved drawing since I was a child, my family always boosted my learning in drawing. Since I was very young I learned classical drawing techniques with great masters.

I studed at an Arts High School in my hometown, Valladolid (Spain). Then I decided to study Fashion Desing and Coustume for theatre and film in Valencia and Barcelona. Now I´m living in London where I´m developing my career as an artist.

Q:How would you describe your style?

My great passion is the creation of characters, including the costumes and drawings. A place where I can express my ideas and feelings. My characters often have a melancholic, natural and magical air. I try to pull myself out of my little fantasy world, my perception of my surrandings, my feelings and concerns.

Q:Is there any particular message that people should read from your art?

I think my art speaks mostly about love and feelings that make us alive. People feel identify because we all go through moments of darkness and light, I fascinates me, the different interpretantions the viewer can read in my work.

Q:What´s your favorite medium to work with?

I love working with ink, I love the texture, the delicacy and the elagance of this tecnic but I also love painting walls, I feel my body movement exerted at the time of painting is part of the art and the release of energy.

Q:As a female artist, what are some of your greatest challenges or obstacles you face?

I never feel the difference being a woman. I´m fortunate to be born in a country and time where women´s rights are the same as those of men. If I had been born in another place and moment maybe my life would have been different.

Q:What are some of your interesting experiences?

The opportunity to have lived the last 10 years in four diferent cities (Valencia, Barcelona, París and London), this has taught and inspired me a lot. Also the graffiti festivals ( Femme Fierce, London; Paint and Beer, Amsterdam) gave me the possibility to met a lot of artists and good friends who share a similar passion.

Q:What´s your best motivational lesson for the beginners?

„Don´t be scared!” Feel the creativity and the freedom to express feelings through art.

We just have to close our eyes and remember when we were kids and our fears never seized us.
